    "The Jig Is Up"

    All,

This is my Irish-flavored piece, "The Jig Is Up".

Instruments are from various sample libraries including Garritan.

    Regards,

Very fun, Larry - I really enjoyed the slightly off-centered chromatic touches in the melody line. I'm glad I started the day with your lively, quirky jig - Thank ye!

Thank you, Larry, for this merry piece of folky joy. A lot of people (me included) were very pleased to hear some more jazz in the LR, well here I can only say that I wish the very same for folk music of all countries (and I mean real folk, not all the derived modern genres).

With your catchy tune, I'm going to bed now.

Aha! You are going to bed because my music puts you to sleep, huh?
    Just kidding. Just kidding.

I enjoy writing all types of music and I'm glad that you like this one.

    Thanks and regards.

    Larry,

May I ask what you use to create this beautiful sound? I need to come up with something a bit better than just straight Finale for my music.

    Nice work by the way!

    Thanks,

    Mitch
Writing music for the joy of it. (with Windows 7 64bit, Intel i7 processor, 12GB memory, LOTS of disk space, Finale 2014, Garritan GPO, JABB3, COMB, Steinway, World Instruments, & Soundiron Olympus Micro Choir. And if I ever figure out how to use Sonar X2...the sky's the limit)

The instruments are from various sample libraries including Garritan, EWQL, VSL and others. My sequencer is Cakewalk's Sonar - Version 8.5. The rest is over six decades of composing. Yes, I am old...very old!

Thanks for the compliment, Mister Mitch.
