    Kirk Hunter Solo Cello

Thumbs up, big time.. that demo sounds GREAT! Did I hear a slide or two in there? Honestly, how easy is that to perform? Some libraries have slides but they\'re not easy to accomplish.

Is there an estimated release date for this library? Nice work, Kirk.

it\'s as easy as the use of the modulation wheel... at least, that\'s how it\'s done in his solo violin.

Hm, mod wheel is kinda \"loose\".. how do you slide to an exact note with such precision ? how does it work?

Another Q about the solo strings in general. Is there legato performance at all?

<font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Arial\">Nothing \"loose\" at all about the Mod Wheel. If you play one note, then just before you play the next note, raise the mod wheel, and the note has a slide to that note. Pretty simple and easy to use...

<font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Arial\">Yes, lots of legato stuff, especially in the solo violin.

This library sounds killer, Kirk. Can\'t wait for the cello demo patch!

I want to know if the KH violin can realistically perform Beethoven\'s \"Kreutzer\" sonata.

    Re: Kirk Hunter Solo Cello

    sam,
the solo violin doesnt use single (and multi-interval) slide samples like other libraries. it\'s one of the .gig\'s \"main parts\". if you need a slide, just push the mod-wheel to the max - there it comes. kirks programming is very smooth and allows an extremely lively performance.
