Question for Thomas J (or is it Thomas M?)

How are you programming the orchestral swells in your demos, such as \'Celebration?\' You know, you\'re on a sustained mp chord and then the whole orchestra swells to a full ff while still sustaining?

I understand that part of it is orchestration (especially a sus cymbal roll that probably helps), but are those crescendo programs, controller 11s, or both? It\'s the transitions I\'m curious about.

Thanks! And anyone else with a good answer is welcome to reply too, as far as I\'m concerned.

Simple, just use CC11 to control volume and use dynamic x-fade programs to control the dynamics of the instrument.

Thanks very much. Those EWQLSO programs certainly have a wide dynamic range!
