Short trailer experiment... it's been a while.

Boy it's been a while since I posted anything here....

Anyway, I was in the mood for re doing a little concept trailer theme I've had for a few years, and am pretty happy with how it turned out. I played all the parts in live, which is not something I'm used to, or particularly good at. Still, I'm quite pleased with how the GWL Sheppard's Pipe sits in the mix once I tweaked the reverb on it a bit.

The deep drum hits were a source of trouble, but I'm currently on really bad $20 speakers (in a college dorm, don't have anything better atm, as my semi decent headphones died) so it might just be bad on my end. The trombones also sound a bit odd, but I'm 100% sure that could be fixed by someone with a better knowledge of sound editing/mixing.

Let me know what you think!

Heh, sorta the same thoughts, 'that's it?'

    Keep going!

    Nice little 'tease' Michael.

The only constructive thing I can think of is they don't all sound like they are in the same 'space' exactly. Brass is a little overpowering - felt it should be softer.

The brass here sound very well, which is difficult to do with dry samples. I know you know, just as a mention, I'd add a bit more reverb to them and the sound would improve even more. But, as everything, it's a subjective matter. S.
