    GPO playback quartertones - sibelius

    Hi There, does anybody knows how to make GPO performing quartertones properly in Sibelius? Thanks!

    Assuming you have already created your score with proper half-sharps and half-flats:

    1. Select a passage that contains half-sharps or half-flats.
    1.5 Make sure your passage includes one note of normal tuning after the quarter-tones.
    2. Select Plugins>Playback>Quarter-tone playback.

    This plug-in sends hidden MIDI pitchbend messages (~B0,xx)
    ~B0,64 is normal tuning. ~B0,80 is about a quarter-tone sharp. (48 cents=16*3) Each increment above 64 is 3 cents sharp; each increment below 64 is 3 cents flat, so B0,48 would be a half-flat

    Let the plug-in create the MIDI messages...to do it by hand is tedious.
