    Thumbs up ~ ~ Rondoletto ~ ~

    Hi everyone,

My strings miniature is finally finished!

After some doubtful weeks as to aspects of the performance,
and after a few days off, I returned to work on it expecting
to have to do so for a few more days.

To my surprise, on the same day, everything just fell into place and
    there it was… finished!

Not that I could not work more on it, but it’s time to move on…

This is not recorded but the hard work of my faithful
    when the wasn’t around… lol

    This was beautiful, Yudit!

I really enjoyed it ... very nice piece. Lovely in every aspect.

Isn't it great when it all comes together like this did for you? Makes up for those sessions where nothing seems to work! .

    Absolutely lovely, Yudit.

This was well worth the work -- with the results
of it abundantly evident in both the writing and
    in the performance.

    And richly deserving of a...

However -- you can't stop here, Yudit! At least
two more movements to round this up into a suite.

    All my best,

Great piece. I hear echoes of Tchaikovsky and Lekeu in your work, and it works wonderfully: lovely texture, great theme, proper development, etc. Good rendering too. David's right: this could be part of a suite, in the best of the Romantic traditions. Very good.

Very nice indeed Yudit. I hope you move on to a contrasting movement as etLux suggests. It seems deserving of a companion or two. Maybe a first and third movement of contrasting styles perhaps.

    What a wonderful piece!
You really have a talent for writing beautiful and peaceful music.
I also like the rendering. It’s well balanced and the use of dynamics gives it a very organic feeling.

    All the best

You have done a beautiful job with this one Yudit! It is both charming and exceedingly romantic too! It makes me think of sunny green gardens with dancing butterfly pairs.
You made it look easy to transition from piano to orchestra!

    Thanks for posting!

    Best regards,

I think we all get different visual images listening to this - but I think we agree that is it quite a lovely piece. I also agree that it could do well with other movements as companions. It stands well on its own, but it would also work well with contrasting movements around it. In other words, KEEP WRITING!

    Really enjoyed it.

    All the best,
    Ron Pearl

    Very lovely Yudit.

Pastoral harmonies and engaging melody. The rendering was very well done and
I agree with the host of others that this piece needs accompanying movements,
perhaps, in suite form to make it complete. Maybe a development of some of
your motivic material or new material as a basis for the additional movements.

    What strings did you use?
