Are there any Antique Typewriter sound libraries out there?

    Hi everyone!

I am looking for any suggestions on where to find typewriter samples. I am using them as a rhythmic instrument (not just a sound effect), so they would need to be isolated individual samples.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

there are tons of them out there, though probably only half a ton meet your requirement for isolation<G>...

You can find some good typewriter sounds in Sound Ideas Series 1000 or Series 2000, or the BBC library.

In the past Sounddogs (http://www.sounddogs.com/searchresul...rd=Typewriters) and freesounds (http://www.freesound.org/tagsViewSingle.php?id=2101) have been the places where I've found the best sounds, outside the libraries I already own.

The links above will take you to searches for typewriter sounds at each site.

There is a free VSTi that use "Erika" old typewriter samples:
