Gary, I think there's a lot of nice interesting stuff going on here, but I'm having trouble getting around the realization. Is this COMB or JABB? The recording sounds thin and seems drenched in reverb, as if recorded with a portable recorder at a distance in a very live space.
I think there are several factors at play and they should be easy to improve. I would choose a warmer reverb and drastically reduce it (bring the "Dry" in Garritan Ambience up to 0 and set the "Wet" to maybe -3db). I would also increase the Pan settings on the instruments - maybe 35 for soprano, 55 for alto, 75 for tenor, 95 for bari or something like that. This will help bring out the individual voices more so we can more easily hear the interplay. Also, if you are using Finale, you might experiment with a different base velocity - this can change the timbre of the instrument quite a bit.
Would be happy to help "debug" the issues with you...
