Poly-sustains Legato script for Tonehammer's Requiem

I've put a new script up that I made over the weekend for a piece of music I was writing with Requiem. The poly-sustains in the library are awesome, but I was finding it a bit tedious having to disable the release samples and manually set the offsets with a CC whenever I wanted to play a chant melodically.

This script allows you to load the poly-sustain instruments and play something like this using typical legato playing:

The script handles the sample offsets, the transition between them and the release notes not triggering till the last note is released. You can grab it from my site. This one installs slightly different to the other scripts in that you have to either disable/bypass Tonehammer's Fine Tuning script, or simply load this preset over the top of it.

There's a version for the slow chants and a version for the fast chants. It also disables the Fine Tuning functionality so I've added in controls to select your chants and blend between them with a CC (defaults to 11). The other CC's should still work (CC1 to swell, CC91 for offset, etc.) but there's no visual indication for them yet. There are also keyswitches to change the chants. Low velocity keyswitch changes the source blend chant and high velocity (>64) changes the destination blend chant.

Note that you may need to play with the timing of notes slightly. The samples can differ in timing a little between notes and chants.

Exactly! So thank you for another useful script, Blake. I'll test it out today if possible, and if it works as well as your other ones, I'm sure it will save many folks a lot of time. I continue to hope Tonehammer is paying attention to all this as well. Cheers..........frank

No problem. Hopefully everyone finds the scripts as useful as I am. Comes in pretty handy being a tools programmer as well as a musician.
