Somewhere in the dark corners of my memory I find that tune. I am not sure, but the trumpets and trombones had some more slides (in particular when you jump a third).

I can see that you are enjoying the JABB!! Great.

Yeah, I think you're right, found several versions, listened to a real hot Big Band with Henry Mancini directing from a grand piano, it was the soloists in that version that inspired my trumpet "playing" on my take. Those JABB trumpets have a lot behind them.
I am teaming up with my video producing brother to complete a 8 min 50 sec video of "Nights in Paris", a bunch of black and whites from the '50's, night clubs, brothels, sexy stage shows, hookers, the works. The photos were taken by a guy named Frasnay. The sound track is solid JABB with a return to a more traditional setting for the arrangements.

    Thanks again!

    Best regards,

You made a good job here.

But I think you should lower down the reverb. I don't here the theme.
I detect some use of SD2, but I might be wrong...

    Cheers,

    Fred.

    Thank you, Fred!
It is not SD2 you are detecting; it is EM1.

I too was kinda wondering what Fred's acronym SD2 meant!! - I Google'd it and discovered it was EWQL - Storm Drums 2, so I answered one acronym with another - EM1 is short for Evolve Mutations 1 by NI. it is a sort of percussion library that uses a lot of samples of percussion, including loops, they somehow interact with each other so that, even if you are holding down 50 keys on the keyboard, everything is playing in sync with the computers clock.
