Is there a vibrato-free Dan Dean? With loose string samples?

    Hi,

Just bought Dan Dean Solo strings, wich sounds very fine except the fact that there is a expressive vibrato on the one and only \"normal\" sustained sample.

Even the violin low g has a vibrato on it, wich is really silly because you can\'t play vibrato on that note! It should be played on a loose string!

It\'s also a shame that there are no loose string samples of the other strings, a really essential part of string playing!

Does anyone have home-tweeked looped Antares-fixed vibratofree versions to share or do I have to look for other libraries?

    What about Siedlaczek solo strings?

    Regards / Jonas Nyström

VR sound has string collections with open strings mapped sepatratley. Also, if you just want non-vibrato strings, there is also x-sample. The later volumes have sustained solo strings which have no vibrato.

    Interresting!

I\'ve never heard of VR Sound library. Is it solo-strings or ensemble?

What about quality of the X-Samples solo string library, compared to Dan Dean?
