Hi, Garritan instruments with a live flute on top.
Hope you like some "sad" tones from Sweden. :-)

Hi Jonte,
Is that you on flute? It's gorgeous! The piece is good too, with well-paced development up until the end. I'm curious, why did you make the sudden change there?
Best,
Reegs
Thanks Reegs! Yes, it's me playing the flute. The score was made
rather fast, lots of "controlled" improvisation.

Jonte,
Man, that was great. Loved the flute!

Nice, understated, minimalist arrangement under a sweet, meandering, melancholic melody. Not necessarily Nordic: I think the sound is pretty much universal. The flute is nearly perfect (perhaps 1 or 2dB softer, but that's my taste). I only thought the higher notes of the cello were a tad too harsh, but for the rest: great sound. Your own composition?
Theo
Thanks dwane and FLWrd!
Yes, it's my own composition. Regarding the cello, I have
a friend of mine whos brother is a cellist of The Swedish Radio Symphonics. I will try to get him to play someday

Hello Jonte;
A pleasure to listen to! I agree the flute playing sounds very natural and is lyrical and evocative.
Thank you for posting your music!
