    Omnisphere LFO modulation

    Hi..

I'd like to modulate some LFO rate with another LFO in layer A and modulate the same LFO rate with the same other LFO in layer B BUT inverted in the mod matrix...

And I can't find the way to do so... It seems that it's not possible to have different LFO modulation between the both layers...?

Or if you know how to do, please, let me know !

    Thanks...

    Re: Omnisphere LFO modulation

LFOs are not Layer specific and they can modulate either layer or both. Easy to send the same LFO signal to both layers with one inverted too.

In case you haven't watched it, be sure to Login to the support site and check out the LFO tutorial as you'll learn a lot from it:

    Re: Omnisphere LFO modulation

Thanks ! But I didn't find my answer in the video...

I just want to do this :
I'm modulating an LFO rate with an another LFO in layer A, I setled it by the mod matrix. When I clik on layer B, I find the same modulation settings and if I click on 'invert' on layer B, it becomes inverted also on the layer A...

2° question : are the 6 LFO the same ones on both layers ? Or there is 6 LFO for each layer ?

Thanks you to spend time with users !

ps : aren't you the guy on the videos ? (The question must be often asked to you !)

    Re: Omnisphere LFO modulation

    If you're the spectrasonic guy...
First bravo !! Omnisphere is one of the best, and RMX...

The only thing wich is a little problem (for me) is when you click on a knob, you change the value as soon as you click on it ; so, the value is changed for ever and you can't know what was the value before clicking. Ok, you may put the default value back but if you changed it already...

Anyway, keep on going like this in Spectrasonics and you'll allways have guys for buying your products. Now, I can't imagine myself without Omnisphere, it is HUGE in quantity and quality !

It is DAW related and not Omnisphere related:

If you click on a knob without moving the mouse, you can see the value without changing it. I use a trackball mouse in the studio, so I can click while keeping the cursor still

As far as the inverted LFOs, the LFOs are shared by the two layers, so you could use two more LFOs with the same settings (with the inversion), and use those for the second layer.

    Hope that helps!

    Re: Omnisphere LFO modulation

I tried all the cubase 5 knob behavior settings and it is still the same. When I click on a knob, I can't see its value beause the knob jump to another value and it's that new value wich I may read. And the Omnisphere knob behavior doesn't change with thee DAW settings !
Everyone say it's a DAW problem but here, there is only the omnisphere or RMX wich react like this, none of the other plugins.
