Cinematic Strings - Another new demo - "Home"

Hi everyone, I've just created another piece with Cinematic Strings which I'd love to share with you all.

It's called "Home," and can be heard here:

    Home

Some extra info: I used only the stage mics to create this - these are really the main "meat" of the library, and can sound great on their own.

I also used Tonehammer's Hang Drum, Zitherette and mini Epic Percussion. Thanks Troels, your libraries are so nice to use.

    Hope you enjoy!

Good heavens, well that's the best demo for these strings I've heard. Gorgeous piece, thanks so much for sharing it.

What oboe was that if you don't mind?

    Thanks

    Thanks Tom

Oboe is from the old Miroslav library - only 1 velocity layer, but gee it's nice

    Thanks.

Never heard the old Miroslav, always heard good things about it though. I can't seem to find an oboe that isn't irritating in some way, that's why I asked

    Great work!

    Absolutely gorgeous, Alex.
It is a pleasure to listen to and use your new library.
Thanks for sharing its sonic possibilities here.

Re: Cinematic Strings - Another new demo - "Home"

if i have to be honest, i like the other demos better.
i am not sure if it is a matter of mixing or reverb or what but IMHO the music does NOT show the real potential of this library.

The cello at the beginning sounds nice and the legato makes it quite nice.
but there is something not right to me with the violin after.

the composition is very good but i am expecting more from this library.

Hey Alex any new on showing the patches singularly?

But still i have a lot of expectation from this library!

    best,
    Roberto

    Hello Alex,
    thanks for your demo..
The sound is warm...but is there some users who can post some demos
with precomposed material (sheet music) like vsl or Xsample do in demo?
    best regards
    Dup

Good idea Dup, I'll be working on a classical mockup soon.

Roberto, glad you liked the composition. With regard to more exposed demos, I'll be posting some tutorials at some point which will run through some of the patches separately so you can see how they sound on their own.
