    Where the Sun Ends - All Strings

    Where the Sun Ends is composed for a fighting game called "Blue Moon". 100% created with Garritans Personal Orchestra Lite using Reason 3.

    I know that it's not like the BEST FRICKIN THING IN THE WORLD, but I did it quickly using keyboard and doing as little editing as possible. The string patches used are:

    1. Full Strings Sus - plays accompaniment
    2. Violins Sus - I customized the Violins Sus by stretching out it's sample on G2. It has the sound of rosin scraping from the string so I thought that sound as great. I expanded it down.
    3. Violas Sus - I only used the C2 sample and stretched it because again you can hear the rosin on the string.
    4. Violin Sus - The melody track.

    I put all of the attacks up so that it fades in and quickly overlapped notes. Total time in Reason 3: Probably just over 30 minutes.

    Thanks for listening. =)

    Not bad for a half an hour. A little on the choppy side, but a little editing should clean that up quickly.

    Thanks. =) I'm always looking for ways to do things really fast.

    Also, I've been studying techniques that can get me that lower violin sound. The Violin Section on G2 has that Darker Cutting sound rather than that glossed-over blurred sound.

    I'm still looking for ways to get that string punch into the sound.

    You have the beginnings of some nice work, here;
    perhaps you'll consider spending more time on it.

    Best,
