London Orchestral Percussion vs. Ultimate OP

    Questions:

Due to budget, if you could only purchase one, which would you get?

If you had alittle extra $ after, how would you enhance this purchase with other material if you were building your orchestra?[/list]

    Cheers

I have not heard LOP but I would buy that without question, over UOP. Afterall LOP is sort of the followup to UOP, and I dont think there\'s much missing from LOP that you\'ll find in UOP.

Found these just around this place:

And... search for \"LOP UOP\" in the search form you\'ll get more results for sure...

That\'ll keep you busy for a while...

    Quite an extensive list.
    Slapstick. That\'s something I need.
What about wind chimes? I don\'t see any of those in that list? I really hope there are windchimes in that collection! The AO upgrade selection is rather limited. How many slapstick samples are there?

    Thanks polar bear.

Saw these posts but everyone is excited w/o comparing two side by side. Also think that triangles are pretty basic and LOP doesnt seem to have em according to the listing. And I\'m wondering if UOP comes with crotales?

Anyone have a listing of UOP?

Coming straight from the horse\'s mouth...

LOP is much more detailed than UOP.

To answer a few questions...yes there are triangles in LOP (4 of them). And yes there are windchimes (4 I think) and Crotales (not in UOP)

Check out the interactive help file for more info....

Make sure to let it completely load in before hitting anything!

    Thanks Donnie:

Well, the question seems to get down to what does UOP give you that LOP doesnt? I\'m trying to compile a DIFF. Seems to me the LOP is the only way to go

Thanks Simon. On that push, I\'m likely to buy. We\'ll see what others have to say - anyone do comparisons to both or can point to a review? Didn\'t see anything out there...
