    Another terrific piece David.

    Well done.

Others have already made any comments I could add - the analogy with cooking is very clever.

Re: INGREDIENTS IN A SAUCE - Woodwind Quintet (Sosnowski)

I had a premonition that you were going to post music soon. I needed a new Sosnowski creation to tingle my taste buds, octipate my olfactory nerves and just generally stimulate my right hemisphere.

Thankfully it came just in time for the last of my garden tomatoes.

I think the wwq is the most interesting of the ww ensembles and I'm sure you took it where no wwq has gone before. Far out!!

I caught that at the end of Onion.

Don't look up the word octipate because I haven't entered it into wikipedia yet.

I agree so wholeheartedly with the above except for one thing -- Dave would never be tongue-in-cheek.

Why am I getting, "Page cannot be displayed?"

Is the sauce not fully cooked, or what?

    Ahh....

It's nice to be back on the forum after my cross-country move... I really have missed listening!

This is vintage Sosnowski (albeit in a compact miniature format). Nice to hear what you can do with a smaller ensemble, my friend!

    Keep up the good work!

    Success David:

Went to your site to listen as the Forum link wouldn't take me there.

Yes, a wonderful contemporary piece indeed. Your interweaving
of instrumental ingredients is "pure" Sosnowski. I always marvelled
at your ability to say the right thing with the right instrument at
the right time.................which brings me to my overall analysis
outside of the writing and instrumentation:

As I listened, I felt I was listening to a conversation whereby your
instruments would interject opinions, answer questions, etc. and
the silent parts would be the places where others would be conversing
although not audibly heard...............Is this going a bit far out or
    what?...........lol

    Great piece, David

    Adorable indeed!

David, You're a true innovator. (I liked the accompanying recipe)

    Such a charming piece!

It's easy for the imagination to envision a master chef at work. I was reminded of the movie "Ratatouille!" Perhaps it was the playfulness you conveyed.

I can hardly wait for your interpretation on "Steel fabrication" ... lol

    Excellent piece!

I say we give David a new title. Sir David Sosnowski.

What a wonderful piece of sensory work you have created, here, David! The instrumentation and movement of the music work together so beautifully.

Thank you for this, good sir.
