I give up with the Audiophile 2496, Tascam PCI-822 question?

I have tried for over a year to get the audiophile to work with xp on my system. I officially throw in the towel. I have tried everything and I do mean EVERYTHING. I thought that I might get the TASCAM audiocard to run the midi functions. Is anyone running gigastudio with this soundcard in xp? Any comments about its functionality would be much appreciated.

The 822 PCI has a TDIF output and SPDIF In/Out. There is no digital to analogue conversion. It\'s not really a lower latency card. I got it with Gigastudio 96 bundle. For only $40 more you get the card. So I made a seperate Giga machine that is using this card in XP. I haven\'t really put it to test much.
I would suggest an Echo Mia. I\'m surprised the Audiophile is not working.
