How do I covert a 24bit EXS library to 16bit?

    Hello everyone,

I have a EXS sample instrument that uses 24bit files, and would like to make a 16bit version to save on resources. How would I go about doing this? Will I see any noticeable difference between the two (i.e. use less ram/load more patches, etc). Is it worth the effort/disk space?

Thanks in advance for your help!

If you bring the samples into the Audio Window and you choose Copy/Convert FIles you can do it but IMHO this will be more trouble than it is worth.
