    Hans Zimmer Gtrs 1 + Kontakt 2

I would like to order this library to run in Kontakt 2. Which format imports better: Roland or Akai? does anyone know?

Hi, Kontakt 2 imports both Akai and Roland file formats. I had the Kurzweil version of Hans Zimmer Guitars which I have imported into Kontakt 2 with no problem. Good luck! John

    I'd recommend the Akai.

And me. I have that library in Akai format and it is pretty useful.

If you use the Extreme Sample Translater, you can convert and save the format into a whole host of others too

But Kontakt2 converts Akai format files pretty well imho.

    Hello.
Just maybe someone here is older than 40 and can remember the Oberheim Strummer. I still have one. Just wondering if there's another product more up to date available for use with keyboards? Maybe I'm in the wrong forum, but thought I'd try anyway.

    I say Akai hands down.

Have you checked out RealGuitar (MusicLab)?

A similar product to the Strummer for realtime input was Charlie Lab's Digitar.
