    Velvet

    Music People,

    These are repostings of my

    "Red Velvet"

    and

    "White Velvet" .

All instruments are from the Garritan Personal Orchestra sample library.

    Regards,

    Larry

    P. S.
I have finished the series of forty radiation treatments for prostate cancer and I am now trying to recover from the treatments themselves.

Because of the radiation, my nose and other parts fell off but I am adapting. I use the glow from my own old bod as a reading lamp. I don't even have to turn on the lights now.

Nice pieces, Larry. And keep those fallen parts for your offspring. Some day they will sell good on eBay as with all artifacts from famous composers (just joking). Go on saving energy!!! You are the first who really does something about global warming (and even not at free will, that is the sad part).

Hehe, finally I listened to all pieces presented. During the last days/weeks I was too busy with other things (social life, economics, demo programs, etc....) to give enough attention to those nice pieces others made with GPO.

Especially Red Velvet is very nice to listen to.
    Nice string arrangements.
I can hear the emotion very well.

in other words: a very good composition!

Thoughtful velvety vibrations--I visualized the sound as healing energy surrounding you, Larry, during this difficult period.

Thank you for this opportunity to hear more of your wonderful music. And get well.

I like both of the velvets. Nice straight forward harmonic movement. Very easy to listen too. Thanks for both of them.

    Re: Velvet

A lot of satin in with that velvet, Larry; fittingly.

Liked both of these the first time 'round; and they've
aged well in memory, familiar and fulfilling old friends.

Larry, did you change pace and string work at all in
Red? I like it at this tempo; but I seem to remember
    it a little quicker.

Come to think of it, I had the same sense with White.
Maybe I'm just having a slow ear day... lol.
