    Clarinet comps.

    Clarinet Fans,

    I present, for your consideration, some of my works featuring this instrument:

    Larry,

    I liked the rather stately feel of #2, Larry; very
    nice writing with a slightly unusual mood and
    quality. #4 & #6, likewise, fine writing for the
    licorice stick -- with #6 my favorite of this trio.
    Nice lip work on the opening; and I like the
    dance-like feel and Eastern European flavor.

    Larry, you might think about scoring these
    up and getting them out there. They'd make
    great recital pieces!

    Thanks, Mr. Dave. If I had a decent notation program I would prepare scores for each and make them available for anyone who wanted them...but I don't.
