Thanks! & Merry Christmas to you too, Wheat Williams!

I think they would be wise to erase their site entirely and start over. I have never been able to find anything i was looking for there. Something is clearly messed up and needs repair. You can type Britten, and you instead get Purcell, you can type John Barry and instead get Purcell, what's up with that? No offense to Purcell.

If they don't have Britten or Barry they could just list who they have and leave those names off the list. Why not just list the scores alphabetically and make it easy to find stuff?

There are some very good ones on there, it just depends on different musical tastes. If you buy their notation program which has a reputation for being very good, it comes loaded with GPO libraries already on it. But i think you can post anything about music here... or about anything else, because this is the general discussion forum.

edit: Actually i don't know if they are related to the Sibelius notation program, but they have music scores so they would definitely be useful to GPO users, for studying scores and for music arranging, or for just listening to what different artists have created.

Jon Raybould is one of the composers who has a piece on the 2006 Garritan Christmas Album. That's why I posted this message here.

Indeed I am Hey, thanks Wheat, for sending this in!

Just to explain a little further - Wheat's copied a promo email sent out to (I guess) a selection of SibeliusMusic users. I had a shock when I got one today and found my name featured!

Cheers Wheat. Have a Happy Christmas!!
    Best wishes
    Jon

    Congrats Jonray! Very cool!

The scorch plugin for browsers they have there great, because you can see which notes on the score are being played, similar to the flash scores in the Rimsky course.
