    JABB "BopLash"

And now for something completely different.....

Here's a little bop thing that I am sketching out - it's a bit different to my normal fayre.

It's an original little ditty for Piano, Bass, Drums, Bari and Trumpet.

Hopefully, you'll either hate it or love it

That's cool, old chap, way cool!

The only thing I can think of to improve it, as far as realism, would be to include some subtle "clinkers" during the unison passages. As it is, it is too "perfect".

I like your bopper. Let's have some more. Thanks for posting this.

Well, there's 50's cool bop revisited as I ever heard it.

Very nice rendition and excellent soloing. I like it!

    Thanks for making my day.

Thanks for the positive response everyone

This was a departure from my usual posts, but for me it was a refreshing change.

I'm going to let this one mature on it's own for a little while, then come back to it for further development - I already have some ideas, but I know that letting it rattle around my head for a bit is the best idea before I start messing.

Now, where's that beret and pack of 20 Camels ??

Don't know about the beret, but here's your pack of Camels -- packing, of course.

Nice work on this, Rich... love that dreamy
opening; it's perfect. And you pulled of the
roll into the upbeat body section flawlessly.
(What can I say... I notice little things like
    that... lol.)

    Much enjoyed!
