It's a bit difficult to listen to this, when I don't have permission to download it.

The CG Empire is, clearly, far more powerful and far more restrictive than we had all anticipated...

    Yes it is...

Sadly I never thought of that, and since last night (London time) I was too tired to upload it elsewhere... Well silly me I guess...

    Here is a straight link.

I will also correct the above link to not take you to the CGempire...

    Sorry for that.

Very nice nikolas... but I notice that you like a lot of reverb too

    thank you Roberto,

But note that there is absolutely no reverb in there. As I said only Giga Piano (and audio editing of course)

It's very nice. But, if you truly want it to be sad, you might want to transpose it up a whole step to D minor instead of C minor.

    Thank you.

    But why?

I was hoping (not conciously) to break the idea that certain tonals have certain aspects (due to frequencies), and that maybe the Pathetique could be transposed to D minor without much of a problem... :-/

But you could are probably right... Just happened that I came up in C and sticked to it, while playing on the piano really...

I was making a silly "Spinal Tap" reference. During one of the scenes, Nigel states that "D minor is the saddest of all keys... I don't know why, but it makes people weep instantly."

    Hey Nikolas-

It is a beautiful piece, and I appreciate the background editing you did to add an extra ambience that gigapiano cannot achieve.

Sample library snob that I am, I must say that after years of using gigapiano, I'm absolutely sick of it. It's very hard to make it sound nice in certain registers of the instrument, do you agree?

I'm currently looking for a better piano sound... "Ivory" is probably at the top of my list right now.

Great job with your sad piece, I enjoyed listening!
