Lightbulb STRADI 2.0 DEMO: Double Violin Concerto - J.S.Bach

The Stradivari solo Violin 2.01 has a new warm colour, contrasting enough with the included 1.08, and the new IR for instrument convolution keep the effect even more interesting. It's time for violin duets! A first excerpt:

J.S.Bach - Double Violin concerto in D min, Allegro

P.S. The continuo is featuring (beside GPO Doublebass and Harpsichord) the Gofriller Cello Beta as the special guest.

    Maestro Fabio,

    Bravissimo!! What an excellent performance!

The Double Violin Concerto in D minor by J.S. Bach is one of the most beautiful concertos for two violins and you certainly did this classic justice. Especially your masterful working of the expressive relationship between the two Stradivari patches in the duet.

    Thanks Fabio for posting his.

    That is beautiful, Fabio. !!

A very interesting study in contrasts, between the 2 violins.
A very nicely realised continuo part too.

While we await the Guarneri, this becomes an option for String Quartets.

Am I the only one feeling the excitement building, for the ultimate Solo String Library.

    The Big One.

    The Solo Viola.

    WOW Fabio that was fun,
Bach is so cool, predictable to me much of the time, but still awesome Bach!

    Great job~!

    Where's the rest of it?

Master Dan, I didn't spend too much time on the "ripieno" orchestral parts, focusing on the following solos, I apologize in front of your mastership (like in recent renditions you did really better using the same technic).

But, yes Bach is so "predictable" but so good, that you fall captured by the poliphony and loose perception of the sound...

    Thanks for kind words.

    Predictable...yeah right...

That's a pretty nice rendition Fabio! In some parts it sounds quite believable. I would tweak the opening line though, where the portato sounds stiff and rather obviously synthetic.
