    Talking Joy to the world

    Hi all,

I got into somekind of christmas mode yesterday and created this arrangement of 'Joy to the world'.

    Joy to the World!

Btw. It's rough mix and very hot

    Enjoy!

This a fantastic rendition. Stirring stuff, and beautifully mixed. LOVE the effect of it being performed in a huge space. Excellent!!

    Re: Joy to the world

Love the Westminster Abbey effect! I also liked the little ornamental flourishes - really well done. It's get me in the mood for the holiday approaching, uhh, Halloween?

I'll have to come back to this in December...

    Very enjoyable.

    Thanks guys for the comments!

jon, yes I think it isn't possible to not like timps, organ and trumpets in huge space.

rpearl, yes feel free to revisit my arrangement in December.

etLux, thank you - I think I managed to put the joy spirit into the arrangement. Maybe I'll do more arrangements with this instrumentation, it's so great sounding.

    Again thanks. *Bows*

Great arrangement on this most festive Christmas piece!!!

And yes it is possible to do it in a live space. But it require very careful arranging and precise articulation. It will blend of course but the result will still be stunning.

    GaryBric,

thank you. Maybe because the instrumentation is for few instruments it's more possible to get it performed. hehe...

Styxx, thank you too - glad you liked it.
    Sincerely,

Here's a new mix of the piece. Changed the instrumentation little bit, instead of two C trumpets I now use 1 Piccolo trumpet and 1 C trumpet.

Also added a little bit more ornamented ending as well as few extra ornaments in the piccolo trumpet part.

    Joy to the world v.2

    Enjoy!

I dont want to come across like Scrooge, but I must confess, I dont really like most Christmas Music.( In fact I dont like Christmas very much either. Maybe I am a bit like Scrooge after all. )

    However, I really liked this.
    It really does sound Joyful.

    Superb Job. Falc.

    regards Joe
