Question OT: keyswitching vsl opus1 with 61 keys?

Is there a good way of controlling keyswitching (opus 1) with a 61 keys midikb?

Or are banks and program changes the way to go?

You using Vienna Instruments? If so you simply reassign the keyswitches. If not... hopefully someone can chime in.

If You are using V.I. program change from 101 to....
This change the matrix instead of KS.

Just in general (on some things) it might work just to use octave up and bring the key switches to the bottom octave as needed.
Another work around is to find a very cheap 2 octave keyboard (must have octave transpose) and use it for the lower octaves (or which-ever range contains the key switching).
One more work around is to use a midi editor program like, MidiOx w/MidiYoke, to make a qwerty keyboard layout for needed keys.

    Cheers.
