This is the thread where we post our own NOTION compositions.

So have at it. Anything you don't mind us hearing.

You'll probably get a couple from me after the competition.

Yeah, that's why I said "Anything you don't mind us hearing", so everyone would post things that they would feel comfortable with.

I have a couple short things I used as examples for my NOTION review in Film Score Monthly online that I will add once I get home today.

So here is my contest entry. I looked into the rules and I think it is not forbidden to post it?

I was so looking forward to this contest ... actually it was one of the reasons that made NOTION attractive for me first hand.

But then I had so much to do in the last weeks (had another music deadline yesterday) that I could literally only start at the last day. One afternoon and evening ... hmm ... such is life.

So instead of delivering the most ground breaking serious work I could eventually think of I decided to do a musical brainstorming. Not that this is not serious - but it is not reflected, overworked or carried out. Everything that came in mind was written down, directly from sub-conciousness to notation. Coming from atonal music which I needed for a thriller before I flowed here ... and there ... and this is it:

BTW I run all my renderings through a limiter lately and add some juice with Cinematic Reverb which works wonders with NOTION and GPO. Suddenly there is ... something. As a reference this is the original file that comes out of NOTION:
