Workout, indeed! (Love that lip work.) Some of
the figure work in the clarinet is perfectly idiomatic
for the instrument, really shows it off at its agile
    best.

    A most enjoyable listen, Larry!

    A fun piece, Larry!

    A fun melody...!

Your work always seems to have a natural flow in terms of tempo.

I'm aware that you input your notes manually.. I'm wondering if you adjust your tempo track to create a more humanistic feel.?

    Thanks for listening.

Hmmmm. I don't understand your question concerning tempo. If you mean do I vary the tempo throughout my works, the answer is yes.

    Hi Larry,

My apologies for not posting replies to your music here lately; 12-14 hours days doing the band-directing thing! But... up at about 1:00 A.M. here in S. Texas, making some time to listen on the forum -- and I just listened to your clarinet piece. Your music is ALWAYS so honest and fun! Your sense of humor combined with a timely sense of musicality and creativity invariably shines through. When the piano accompaniment finally enters in this piece, for some reason it takes me to a German beer hall -- and that's a good thing! Thanks for brightening my sleepy, about-to-end evening!

    Hi Larry!

About composition; nice piece of music for the clarinet. I hope that the clarinet players will like it as much as I did.

About rendering; you might “polish” some clarinet notes to sound more human/natural.

All in all, big hand for this one!

Thanks for the good words, Mr. Danny.

I was not aware that you are a band director. I have much admiration for you because that's a tough job.

    Thank you for listening.

Wonderful cheerful work, I love your style! I wish I could play the clarinet like that... or the piano like that. Very catchy tune, well done! I always enjoy your fine work.
