    The Coventry Carol

My first post to the listening room is an arrangement of my favourite melancholy tune for Tuba Ensemble two tenor tubas (Euphoniums) Bass and ContrabassTuba.

The MP3 is straight from GPO for Sibelius - no sophisticated mixing I'm afraid.

It's not what you may expect - but hey! I write what I like and hope others can enjoy it to.

David, this works quite well! Enjoyed listening to this.
I was surprised at the clarity and the agility of the
    fast passages.

I hope snorlax (Jim Williams) is around for this one --
he's our resident euphonium fanatic, and he'd love this one...

    Thanks EtLux.

people who don't know are always surprised by the agility of Euphoniums/Tubas. But they shouldnt be as they are just as capable of playing fast as trumpet or horn just not so often required to do so.

Over time I'll post a few more traditional arrangements and we'll blow that Um Pah! Um Pah! myth out of the water.
