    A Wisp Of Autumn

    OK Paul,
I was going to wait on the 2nd movement of the Flute Quintet.
    Here it is.
A slow movement allowing the flutes to blend with maybe a
strange ending. What do you think?

Gary, this is gorgeous -- amongst the best I've
heard from you. Your handling of this ensemble
    is... superb.

    Gary,

Plumes of frosty breath... the leaves... I'm feeling Autumn.

I liked this very much... as always, but there are some high, loud notes that come in the first time at about 1:32... then and 3:00... if they weren't quite so loud they would be perfect.

Other than those 3 or 4 notes... This was awesome! I think I am starting to run out of adjectives when it come to your music!

I was not thinking... it could be my speakers. See whether or not anyone else notices... if they do not? It is Paul's speakers!! Ignore him!!! LOL

Something that I have noticed... your music is very subtle... Larry Alexander's is very happy... my music hits you over the head and steals your bag of oranges! LOL

    Thank you for sharing
    Paul

    Gary,
Magnificent. So peaceful and serene, well except at the end but that part is also great and fits well. Not only magic for your ears but also your head and your heart, Five stars and two thumbs up! Do I understand correctly that there is a first movement that goes with this? Post a link?

edit, nevermind I found it, and it's bookmarked for morning listening.

    Gary,

A very fine work you have produced here. The flutes are really delicately done, lovely rendering all the way through.

    David Leaf,
Thanks. The 1st & last movements are on this site.
    ANTICS FOR FLUTE
    ALLEGRO from flute qintet.

THANKS to the rest of you. I don't accept praise too gracefully. An old habit. I tend to be critical of my work, even though I think most of what I've placed here is good.
