    Gary,

Help me, I'm techno-challenged! What is the link to your music?

The name intrigues me... I want to hear it!

    Re: Consecration

This is my first post here, and I posted a Finale mus file initially. I then posted an aiff file. I don't know if it will work, and I haven't figured who to ask.

David is a guru around here... he will help you out!! I guess my first question is... do you have a site to host your mp3's

I have used soundclick.com. My only real issue is that I have issues using their flash player on my Mac. I think that it could be my hardware causing the problem, but I really do not know. Once again, I am techno-challenged.

You will want to switch your aiff over to an mp3... iTunes works great for me!

Let me know if I can help you in any way!

P.S. the server is acting up tonight... I hope I'm not posting this multiple times!

P.P.S. I did post twice! LOL

    Re: Consecration

    Hi Paul,
I just attended a Band Convention here in San Antonio, where
I gathered around the Finale booth for two days.
One of the things they stated is that you can't save Garritan files in mp3.
I don't have a web site to post ćo, but after hearing Garritan sounds, it's hard to go back.
    I'm using a Mac and Finale 06.

    Re: Consecration

    Gary,

Save to wav or aiff file... import into iTunes, and then convert to mp3.

The soundclick site in the earlier post is free and I have had no problems uploading to them. You will have to let me know if the player problem is on all macs or just mine!

Like I said, let us know if you need any more help!

It's true -- VST-based material in Finale cannot be directly saved
as .mp3's (at least not yet).

Most audio editors can convert to that format easily, though.

If all else fails, I can probably take the .MUS and do it from that.

    EDIT:

Paul's suggestion above, converting with iTunes to .mp3, that's
also a good option... don't use iTunes that often; forgot you
    could do that!

    Gary,

It is the next morning, and I thought that I would touch base with you again. Did you go to soundclick.com? Like I said last night, that sucker is free! I will continue to check for your tune on this thread... and in the listening room. I look forward to hearing your stuff!!

    Later,
    Paul
