    Manuals

    I installed GPO, of course. Found in the directory two manuals:

    GPO Complete Guide to, Notation Edition;

    Addendum of Notation Version, which is older than the above.

    Reading the Addendum, I noticed that all KS-s are between C2-B2.
    Looking into the Complete Guide and looking at the directory of instruments, I noticed that some KS-s begin with C0 (e.g. cello).

    Which one tells the truth?

    The keyswitches do vary. For the most part, they occupy the first octave that is lower than the lowest note in the instrument's range. You can see the keyswitches as light orange notes on the onscreen keyboard in the player.

    Not the instruments in the "9. Notation" folder (= Notation Edition?). They all have KeySwitches from MIDI note 0 to MIDI note 11.

    Sorry, my mistake. I glossed over the words "notation edition."
