    Thumbs up Re: Box Monkey

Ha! I can just see “The Barroom Buzzards" playing this at a carnival. Pretty darn cool!
Nice use of solo instruments. I particularly like the clarinet and the T-bone! This brought a big ear-to-ear smile to me face and after a morning like this one I need this!
    Thanks for posting.

Very nice. My favorite parts: The slide on Trombone and the ending. Very well constructed and enjoyed the melodies especially in the clarinet.

    William,

What an excellent little tune. This was simply delightful and must have been fun to do.

Good to see you on the forum. Thanks for posting this.

Thank you all for listening and your kind words.
This was a fun piece to write. The trombone player gave me a lot of greif - all he wanted to do was sit around and tell Styxx jokes and drink coffee. Not the team player I thought I had hired!

I enjoyed that William.....as I have, over time, with your other pieces. I love the loose natural feel of this and the production gives it a lovely 'in your face presence' It's also good to hear JABB used with an older style arrangement. Very nice.

Now where's that expansion pack for traditional jazz with a Souzaphone ?
