    Tillamook Organ

My father always liked any cheddar cheese a long as it was Tillamook, which is moderately powerful, with a bit of a bite to it, as is this piece. Tillamook Cheese is made in Tillamook, Oregon, not so far from my father's birthplace.

This seems like a good demo of the GPO organ. I made it about 2 years ago and fogot about it until today.

Definitely I love this piece. Triplets are so effecitve here and the contrast of different sound colors is beautiful. Again, it sounds like voices from another universe.

Jun's comment that the piece sounds like "voices from
another universe" is to the mark; though there are those
who might find Tillamook, Oregon sufficiently off the
    beaten path to qualify.

The flowing softer sections are lovely, Richard; and
work well in contrast against the richer, strongly voiced
and harmonized segments; and the contained air of
expectancy and suspense is highly effective.

Like the cheese, as you say, "a bit of a bite to it",
and indeed -- powerful, if moderate.

    Best,
