Question Can't open RMX in GarageBand

I followed the instructions in the Knowledge Base at
    http://support.spectrasonics.net/viewtopic.php?t=150

and I can select Stylus RMX as a generator, but when I click on the pencil icon (to the right of "manual"), the Mac "bouncing ball" rotates for a while, but no RMX window opens. Also, the drop-down menu on "manual" only shows "Pres 0:Preset 0". Is this correct?

    Can anyone help, please?

    thx

Can you post your system specs (cpu, memory, os version, etc.)?

Re: Can't open RMX in GarageBand

Oh sure, sorry: OS 10.4.6, Garageband 2.0.2, Quad G5, 4.5GB, Stylus RMX 1.5.1c.

The problem is not just with RMX, but oddly, some VIs load okay in GB and some don't. I think it may have something to do with how presets/libraries are loaded & handled in GB.

FM7, for instance, loads fine, but with no graphic interface, just a list of 127 presets. Tassman loads with the GUI but the top part is obscured by GB's menu bar. Albino & Lounge Lizard won't load, Absynth 3 loads with a User bank.

My RMX library has a lot of presets, so maybe that's too much for GB.

I've emailed Spectrasonics support, maybe I can post any feedback here.

    Thx
