    Vienna Instrument Harps Demo

Two weeks ago I got the library Harp 1 & Harp 2 from Vienna Instruiment.
Two fanatstic harps. When I listened to the articulation "bisbigliando", which sounds very natural (you even can hear the nails of the performer),
I decided to arrange my composition "twi.light" from the album "the.legends.of.novajor" for two harps.
The demo uses the articucaltions bisbigliando, normal & flagelotte of HArp I & II.

    Here comes the result:

The piece was arranged with Overture 4. Each of the four tracks of score uses an own instance of Vienna instrument.
The piece was recorded with the record feature of Overture 4, the final mastering was done with Adobe Audition. Only a very small amount of reverb (of Silverspike's R2) was added. That's all.

"twi.light" was originally composed for 2 classical guitars.

You may compare the harp version with this one:

This is a original recording with Gabriel Guillén (Venzuela) & Bernard Hebb (USA/Germany).

"twi.light" was (and is) performed and recorded as solo & duet piece by serveral guitar artists all over the world & digital right protected. So please don't copy & distribute it.

Many thanks for your nice words.
I composed a lot of music for classical guitar (solo, duet, quartet, chamber music concerts) & other instruments.

I dont know what is the idea behind Twi.Light ? I mean the meaning of it ?
But i find it to be a love story, dont ask me why it's just the feeling of it , it's pretty romantic.

Well done again, because i've the melody in head for 1 day ! i cant get out of my head, especially the part around 3 minutes ( guitar version) and 2 minutes for the harp version

    Hi John,

years ago I composed a large suite called

    "the.legends.of.novajor"
    1.the.prophecy (guitar.solo)
2.the.twi.light (guitar, gutar duet or harp duet)
    3.home.and.abroad (violin & guitar)
    4.once.upon.a.time (guitar.solo)
    5.the.nightmare (concerto.4.guitar.&.orchestra
    6.the.down.fall (guitar.&.string.quartet)

The collection is from my project called fantasy, which consists of new romantic pieces in the style of film music.

novajor is a fantasy island on a far away planet and the legends are stories about the fantasy beeings there.

The movements of "twi.light" in the original compositions are

    1.) twilight.over.the.coast
    2.) the.bells.of.or
    3.) the.island.of.or.under.night.rain

A fantasy beeing sitting on a stone of the coast of or looking into the longitudinal (i hope this is correct english) waves which are rolling very slowly against the coast.
And that is true - he is thinking about his lost friends...

BTW: The tempo of the harps version is my feeling, the tempo of the guitar version is the tempo of the performers.
