Slap'n Fingered Keyswitching makes everything polyphonic

The Slap'n Fingered for Kontakt is supposed to be monophonic for better realism, and when you first load the Session Bass .nki the notes trigger monophonic, but as soon as I press one of the keytrigger notes, all the notes become polyphonic.

So there is something happening with the keytriggers that is causing a change from mono to polyphonic. This happens in both Kontakt 1.5.3 and 2.1.1 and the only way to get back to monophonic operation is to close down and re-open the Session Bass .nki

Can anyone here confirm this behavior?

I'm not at my rig but will check this evening. Had a bunch of keyswitch weirdness until I downloaded the updated K2.1 patches and replaced the ones that came on the DVD. I thought that fixed it, but I will check.
