Concert No. 2, Sax, Harpsichord, Bassoon

It's been a LOOOONG while since I posted any links to demos - I've been busy with a lot of other things.

I did take the time to finish up this movement that I was working on:

This is Marguerite Roesgen-Champion's Concert No. 2, for Alto Sax, Harpsichord and Bassoon, mvt 1 "Prélude"

There are 4 mvts to this unique piece... kind reminds me of Satie in places.

    Enjoy,

You do come up with some interesting ones, Jonathan.

Fine job on the rendition! I've had this looping for a
bit, and have rather taken a liking to it -- wouldn't
mind a look at the score when you have a chance.

I've heard little of Ms. Roesgen-Champion's music, and
would be interested to hear the rest of the concerto,
too, if you find time to do the full work, Jonathan.

    For those interested, Marguerite Roesgen-Champion
    was a Swiss composer (1894-1976).

    Best,

    Johathan,

Very interesting work. Delicate, uncomplicated and well constructed. The instrumentation is rather unique, very pleasent.

I will be anxious to hear the other movements someday.

    Thanks, Gary!

Glad you enjoyed it - I _will_ try to do the rest of the movements someday
