    March for organ

I posted a march for piano some weeks ago. Before trying it for orchestra, I arranged it for church organ, selecting from the GPO pipe organ stops. The reverb. used is Garritan. Hopefully some day we will have a fully specified "Garritan Organ"......

    Eugene,

Very fine march. Works well for organ and would be very interesting to hear the orchestral rendering.

    Eugene,
What a marvelous improvement. This works quite well on the organ. The march, as before, is an excellent piece of writing and this arrangement makes it shine. Liked the reverb as well. Well done.

Thumbs up Re: March for organ

I'm not much for organ pieces but this one is excellent! Love the arrangement. Sounds so lively! Sure has my organs marching!
    Awesome work!

Wow, this really shines on the pipe organ!

Great job on this -- very astute voicing, too.

What a fine use of the organ! I don't think I've ever heard an organ march before... (er, maybe just that wedding march). Well done, great piece! Very catchy melody!

Garybric, Larry, Bill, Styxx, etLux, Sean.......thanks all for your welcome comments and time spent listening to the march. Next will be an orchestral version of same....but will have to put it in a queue, as there are a few projects looking for my attention at present, mostly half finished - a classical concerto movement, an original orchestral piece, and a brand new piano rag. More later....
