Please help me reinstall GigaStudio 96. Thank you.

    G'day from Australia.

Recently GigaStudio 96 started having problems and I deinstalled it.

Now I want to reinstall but am having problems.

The error message that I get is.

Failed to install the following file(s):
    C:\Program Files\NemeSys\GStudio\Components\SConv.Dll
    C:\Program Files\NemeSys\GStudio\Components\NFX1.Dll

I have Windows XP Service pack 2.

I also have downloaded the latest GigaStudio patch 2.54, but need to install from the CD first.

I hope there is some kind soul out there who can help me reinstall.

    Thank you.

    Paul.

I hope you had your registration file saved.
You should download Tascam's instructions for clean uninstall, and follow the instructions to the letter.
On the clean computer then you should not have problems. ( If you just uninstall, a bunch of things remain in your computer, in registry etc. interfering with your installation)

    Good luck

I had similar difficulties. Install what you can, then get the successive XP patches up to 2.54. You have to install them in order to get it "working".

My problem is that now the CPU locks up at around 98% usage, even though after some time, "3%" pops up in GigaStudio's CPU monitor. So the sampler isn't, apparently eating up the CPU time, but what is? HELP!

    Nick
