Glad I bought my Strad from Gary!

They said last week they expected it to go for more than 1.5 million... guess they were off a tad.

The new owner is probably going to have to shop for a very special bow, just any ol bow will not do.

I'll let you guys borrow it for a couple weeks each....and yes, I will be needing a bow for it.

I am now quite tempted to try and auction my Garritan Strad at Christies.
Shall we start the bidding at $2,000,000.
    regards Joe

    Don't rush it, Joe.

You need to let it age and season so it develops
its fullest harmonic richness and depth.

At 3.5 million a hit, it makes me wonder what was left after Gary shot the starter pistol into our Strad to get the body res IR. I mean, he could have used a sine sweep, but knowing Gary, that approach would't be as much fun when handing back the Strad to its owner. He's like me see...smile and run!

And here I thought you were boasting on a score you wrote for a new home improvement show.
