Topic: Help me out!

    Thumbs down Help me out!

I was working with a flute and an organ when I realized I'd stumbled onto a style of music I'm not familiar with...

Any tips or ideas how to continue would be appreciated, as well as any tips on music I should listen to. General comments are very much welcome. Am I doing alright and should just keep clicking out notes?

Alright? Most of us wish we could "stumble" nearly so well... lol.

Keep clicking, intet -- you're off to a lovely start on this! Very
    nice mix... silky smooth.

I'm sure this will end up being one of those projects that'll never be finished... I just can't figure out how to add more dynamics to the song. I'll keep going - something will come to me.

    Thank you, etLux.

Um... I think you should just keep clicking. Whatever you do, don't ever stop clicking.
I'm not really qualified to advise but what have here so far is absolutely beautiful. Whatever that style is, one thing is for sure, it's a good one.

That one is too good for you not to finish it.

    intet,

I love the first theme of this tune very much. As the others say, keep clicking If I can give any advice, I would say that sometimes you need courage to choose best ideas from many of yours.

By the way, I could not resist to the temptation to play around this very charming theme.

These are four somewhat similar ideas of the development which come to my mind.

Thank you, intet. Please feel free to use them if you like

I hope these ideas help you get out of an "ant lion trap" of musical ideas, in which we are caught from time to time.

I love this piece! Simple and absolutely sublime. Jun's variations are wonderful as well. I may leave this looping on my computer all day long...

    Very nice piano, Jun Yamamoto!
Now some female vocalist could add lyrics...
