    Gpo 1.0 => Gpo X.y=> Gpoa

    Hi, everybody!

    The Time has come: time go to the store and buy it!

    Now, that's my little question.

    In a local store I've found the GPO version (1.0?) with Overture LE included: I'm particulary interested in this specific version, because i just compose with trackers and I need to retouch the expression of my "scores": Overture LE wouldn't be as expensive as Sybelius/Finale/... full editions and (I think) would be a good beginning.

    Now.

    I know GPO v2.0 is sold without Overture LE.

    1) If I login to the website and I start to download proper updates for my version of GPO, can I obtain, in the end, GPO v2.0 or something similar?

    2) GPOA. Will it be an update or a full, enhanced version? In the first case, will it work fine on my GPO 1.0 + updates?

    I apologize for these dumb questions...
    Thank you so much!

    GPO 1 + updates does indeed = GPO 2

    I believe GPOA will be a standalone product - and I guess there will be an upgrade path from GPO (either version).

    If you want the full version of Overture and GPO, check out their website for some deals www.geniesoft.biz

    I'd recommend (if you are interested in getting a version of Overture with GPO) that you purchase it directly from Geniesoft. The version we now include in our custom bundle is Overture 4 SE with internal VST hosting (no need to use Garritan Studio.) Overture 4 SE has many improvements over the LE version that originally shipped with GPO, like automatic dynamics and articulations.

    The price is the same as anywhere else, we just throw Overture 4 SE in for free (basically.) Its a PC only version right now, if that makes any difference.

    I started out with Overture 3 SE that came with the original GPO and then upgraded to Overture 4, so I'll second what Joseph says below...it's a great product (even in the SE version)!!!

    You will not be disappointed if you're on a Windows platform.
