Gigabyte K8NS Ultra - Still worthy?

It was almost common sense in this forum that this board was the best for AMD 64 X2 DAWs. Best chipset, transfer rates, no PCI-E conflict problems, etc...

But the board was discontinued some months ago. It can still be found, but refurbished. No warranty. Is it still worthy to buy?

I'm using the K8NS Ultra-939 at home - with just an Athlon 64 3000+. Works like a champ - no problems whatsoever. Make sure to keep your BIOS updated with the included tools and it is a solid buy.

I think there may be a resurgence of 939 boards offering AGP slots. New Egg has quite a few in stock.

I had been using it with a Athlon 64 3500...as stated above "worked like a champ!"
