    Forgive me!!....Just a proud father!

Forgive me, as this is a 'little' of thread!!......come on; that's not so much to ask!!.......is it?

My son has just completed his band, 'Freedom High's', website. If you're a multi-genre type please give 'Broken Lullaby' a listen, as I think it's a great 'World Class' rock tune. I may be biased!

My son (Stuart Francis Marshall) created the (what I think is a) brilliant web site, and produced the recordings and plays the drums. He uses a PC we built here. It uses a Yamaha DSP Factory and SW1000 XG sound card, although the whole package is used mainly as a live recording facility.

The whole band are a talented bunch and have synergistic and complementary skills. Mike Taylor wrote 'Broken Lullaby'.

I do hope that the band is successful (it's time I retired!! )

    Best regards

    Frank,

Congratulations. A chip off the old block!

You son is lucky to have a father that supports his art.

No retirement for you yet - the band needs a roadie.

    They're good songs!
Do they gig much? They sound as though they'd be a good live band (although I don't know how easy it is to get gigs these days).
    Anyway, Congratulations.

    Cheers, Tim

    Congrats.

The website is excellent - any company would pay good money for a website that professionally laid out.

I will check out their music tonight.

And, yes, you are a good father. My son (5 years old) is showing creativity and musical talent already and I have every intention to nuture it to the fullest - whatever he wants to do, I support him as do you to your son.

    I truly admire that.
