Wow, good news for Windows guys!

I'm still waiting on a "lite" version that is a little more cost effective. Kind of like a Waves IR-L version. They said they've been kicking the idea around and is a possibility.

    Here's to hoping!

I can see that Altiverb runs with a key protection system iLok now

    a) Can I use Altiverb on 6 computers if I have 6 keys, or do I some special license?

    b) Can the vienna/steinberg keys be used or are they a completely different system?

I believe that Altiverb is iLok, but currently there is an option to use CR instead.

Yup - but you still need a copy per computer. Too bad - to me this was looking like a really hot alternative to MIR. But seeing as I would need 6 copies x $600 its out of the question.

Do other verbs also require you to buy a copy per machine? Seems whack

I don't quite get this.. how do these people justify this restriction : one licence per machine? Piracy again? Or is it just that they don't want you to get too much advantages of your investment? And 600$$ is not exactly a low price for a reverb plug-in.. I use some Izotope plug-ins and they let you install it on more than one machine, which is very fair, IMO.
