    Electric Bass Samples

What have you found to be the best or most useful electric bass samples? I write all kinds of music, but feel the bass samples I have are a weakness in my sample set so am looking for advise as to what people would recommend. Even better if they don't need a whole lot of work to fit in a mix well. Thanks.

Incredible sonic quality and extension in the low end. You won't be sorry.

How would you compare Trilogy with the Scarbee Bass Library?

I believe that the difference is that the Scarbee library is a very detailed library of one instrument. Trilogy has a lot more different instruments/sounds to choose from, but the Scarbee library has many more articulations, keyswitchings, and such from a single instrument.

Took the words right out of my mouth. And Scarbee is pretty inexpensive these days, so it's not hard to justify having both!!

    Re: Electric Bass Samples

Thank you both for your replies.

I have Scarbee, but it is taking some time to get it together with all the articulations and make it sound authentic.

I am very tempted by ALL the Spectrasonic offerings.

    Best Regards, Linda
