    "Vistas"

    Y'all,

This morning I wrote this while torturing a terrorist by making him listen to Yoko Ono and Tiny Tim albums. (You youngsters probably won't know who I'm talking about.) I topped off my cruelty with six straight hours of accordian music!

This is my "Vistas" and this work contains a lot of things including some counterpoint fireworks at the end.

I can definitely hear the Tiny Tim in this; but I think my ear is too unsophisticated to discern the Yoko Ono.

Nice job on this, Larry -- that ending, in fact the whole latter part of the piece, is boffo!

I thank you, Mr. Dave. It's nice to write something 'boffo' once in a while. Shades of that entertainment magazine whose name I can't remember. Is it Variety?

Excellent work, Larry. A very enjoyable piece. And it does indeed have counterpoint fireworks at the end.

Wow. That's cold. Anything but Yoko and Tiny. You could work for the...you know...those guys in suits.

It was actually the accordian music that broke him down into little pieces.

Many thanks, young William. I'm pleased that you enjoyed mi musica.

    Musicifially yours,

    Hi Larry,

Can’t comment because on my Mac with QuickTime, the piece stutters. Would love to hear it though.

The problems that people have been having playing my music lately baffles me, Mr. Karl. With most, things go smoothly. I don't know the source of the problems that some encounter. I'm mixing down and converting from wav to mp3 in the same way I always have, i.e. sixteen bits, CD quality. It's a puzzlement. Sorry 'bout that.

Get a PC, Mr. Karl...no more problems.

Quite a flourish at the end. Enjoyed it!

I was able to listen to it on my Mac by ctrl clicking on it as a mp3 download and then it worked fine in iTunes or Realplayer but not in QT for some weird reason.

    Another great piece!

I love the minor key, and the counterpoint is wonderful as usual!

Thanks for providing the score. I'd love to be able play this live someday.

    Awesome music!
